About Us

Most tree companies profit from removal. We profit from building long term relationships.

How We Started

I spent over a decade as a union carpenter in New York City, specializing in heavy rigging and scaffold work. The union taught me so much about how to work hard and efficiently, and I believe it really set me up for what came next, running my own company.

During the pandemic, things shifted for our family, and we made the decision to move to Pennsylvania for the nature, quiet, and a different quality of life for our children. After settling in, I got obsessed with tree work. I landed a job with one of the top companies in the area and eventually established myself as a contract climber. I'm proud to say I've worked with many of the companies out here, including Nelson's, doing line clearing.

What I've learned, and what has resonated with me most in starting my company, is that people want to feel heard and taken care of. Their land has immense value to them in a way that's often overlooked by bigger outfits. That gap between what people ask for and what they actually need became the whole reason we started this company. We want to build long-term relationships that go beyond tree removal and focus on the health and wellness of people's land. .

'Killing a tree is almost never my first option. My job is to listen, assess, and give homeowners the real picture.'

— Ralph Bury, Owner and Operator

What We've Learned

Pruning and weight reduction save trees that other companies would remove without hesitation. A homeowner came to us wanting their mature oak removed because it was “too big.” After about forty-five minutes of conversation and assessment, we developed a three-year pruning plan instead. Two years in, they told us it was the best decision they had made. That tree now frames their entire yard differently.

Education changes the outcome. Most people don't understand what their trees need because no one takes the time to explain it. We have learned that five minutes of real conversation can prevent bad decisions and build trust. When we walk a property, we are not just building a removal estimate. We are diagnosing what the tree actually needs and what the homeowner actually wants.

Sustainable business means sustainable people. I started this company because I needed it to work for me and for the people doing the work. That means we do not chase every dollar through unnecessary removals. We do honest work, price it fairly, and build relationships that last for years, not just one job.

How We Work With You

When you call, you're getting someone who actually shows up and takes the time. We'll walk your property with you, listen to what you're seeing and what you want, and tell you if a tree can be saved. We'll explain what we recommend and why. Some jobs end in removal because that is genuinely the right answer, but we offer many options beyond removals.

We ask questions before we quote, we follow through, and we make sure the work gets done right because we are building a business we can stand behind. If tree work is in your future, we'd like to be the ones you call first.
